🌿 Breath • Movement • Stillness 🌿
Join us in Wolfville every Tuesday evening, 6:30-7:30PM, from August 5th - September 9th, for a gentle and mindful one-hour yoga practice rooted in classical traditions. Our focus will be on grounding breath work (pranayama) and on gentle movement (asana). We will learn some simple mantras and give time for quiet reflection (savasana), all facilitated by Kirk Johnson, a Trauma-Aware Hatha Yoga Instructor. Trauma awareness means recognizing that everyone arrives with different experiences behind them. This approach emphasizes choice with options and space for you to move in a way that feels right for you. It’s important to us that your experience feels safe and beneficial.
